When Alyssa's dark side avenged the murder, Ross covered Sharon's eyes and told her to "close your eyes, close your eyes..." but she opened her eyes and saw Alyssa's dark side .
This is the shot, and there is a smile in the next few seconds.
Then looking at the look of her eyes, I felt fainted. Then there was darkness for several seconds.
After the light came on, Ross took his hand away, but Sharon's eyes were open at the moment. I wonder if some kind of ritual was done during this period. What I'm thinking at the moment is either Alyssa's dark side devours her, or Alyssa's dark side combines with Sharon (aka Alyssa's good side) to become the original Alyssa.
Because here, Ross said this sentence to Alyssa's biological mother, many soybean oils led to the little girl wanting to enjoy the mother's love alone, so they finally lived in a different dimension. I accept and agree. It's also one of the reasons why I think Sharon isn't Sharon anymore... Movies aside, I don't think the good side should seem so selfish.
Then, as the mother and daughter left at the end, Sharon glanced at Alyssa's biological mother. I think this look is very meaningful.
Finally they reached the room, Sharon took a few steps by herself, the camera showed her, and I didn't think the expression was right. Because from the performance of Alesha's dark side, the little actor's expression control is very powerful. I think Sharon should not have such an expression if she is just a pure kind side. But I see that Sharon's appearances are too few in the front, and the expressions are really incomparable.
So I currently feel that Alyssa is Oedipus, and then she splits into two herself (the dark side and the good side later), and sends the good side to the outside world to find the mother who truly loves her (because Sharon will always be dreaming about silence Ling, if you really love her, you will bring her to Silent Hill, I understand it as a trial for the mother, and the whole movie can be said to be a trial for the mother). When Sharon returns to Silent Hill, Alyssa's dark side reunites with her to become the real Alyssa. Or maybe this plan was conceived by the dark side, and the dark side sent the good side out, because things like "exclusive maternal love" should belong to the dark side's idea. In the end, she achieved her goal.
