To my surprise, after watching the whole film, I didn't find it scary, but was immersed in a kind of sadness. When Rose chased her daughter again and again, when the "little witch" was burned, and when the policewoman was unjustly killed, When Rose brought her daughter home, she was blocked in another time and space... What's more, when the "little witch" turned into a big devil, when she saw her mother, she had a sad look in her eyes.
