All the imaginary futuristic technologies involved in this film are, in my opinion, far more pros than cons. All the reasons for the cups can be said to be the savior-like arrogance that the male protagonist does not explain, share, and negotiate when he has surpassed and worked independently to save the world. And this arrogant character is arguably the favorite of directors who discredit science.
I found that all films that negatively expressed artificial intelligence like a routine, concealment and deception. This film is no exception. The heroine's complete loss of confidence in the hero appears at the moment when he shows his feelings for monitoring the heroine. Wouldn't a normal person discuss this with his wife first? So this is entirely a bridge created by the director to alienate scientists (or artificial intelligence). In fact, I have always wanted to say to those who are afraid of the inhumanity of artificial intelligence, if artificial intelligence can deceive and conceal, doesn't it just mean that they have human nature? An artificial intelligence that is not anthropomorphic is more likely to be honest like an idiot.
The design of those anti-scientific terrorist organizations is also quite unreasonable. In the film, they used to be cultural people in the academic circle, but what they do is the kind of destruction and murder that people who are ignorant to the point of only have faith. And then all of them are high-tech. This is a really weird terrorist organization. Well, when the atomic bomb was developed, there were also scientists who opposed it, so let’s not forget about our background. Regarding why she was opposed to the new technology of the protagonist, the female leader only gave one explanation except for the fear of the unknown: the orangutan was very painful after uploading it. Big girl, you are too emotional, really not suitable for scientific research! Back then, the countless space dog space orangutans sent by the Soviet Union into space couldn't die. Why don't you bomb the space station? How many tons of mice die every day in global drug research and development, why don't you go to anti-pharmaceutical companies? This explanation can only be used to fool the audience.
There is also a section in which the black professor and the FBI visit the male protagonist's base together. Originally, such a tripartite meeting with colleagues of scientists and the government should be a fruitful meeting. The professor should be able to understand what he is doing and what he can do, and the government should be very interested in such cutting-edge technology and think about how to do it. Own it and serve the national interest. The result of the film? The result is that the male protagonist did not introduce what he was doing on a large scale at all, and only showed a little medical technology in the details (Uncle, whether you are uploading consciousness or a second-class AI, no matter how important it is, you won’t say it if you don’t ask it. ?), everyone thought "so scary, so scary" in their hearts and ran away (Professor, don't you have any curiosity in your own field as a professor? If you don't verify whether he has self-awareness or not, Will himself just left? ?), and then go home and tell others that he is "building an army" and that if there is a threat to the country, it should be directly erased (if the FBI is so logical, the science of the US imperialists will lag behind North Korea). It can't be written like this to intensify the dramatic conflict, it's super illogical, and the people in the play are all inexplicable.
Finally, let's talk about some hardships. The heroine can run PINN at home by dismantling a few components, then you can build the world's largest quantum computer laboratory to look like. It seems that people think that the best hackers are invincible even if they are connected to the Internet, and the male protagonist is omnipotent even if they are connected to the Internet. Wherever they want to be hacked, they are really watching too many hacker TV series.
Although the end of this film seems to be whitewashing for the male protagonist, the front is really black enough, and there is a suspicion of whitewashing terrorist organizations in the middle. I really can't like this kind of plot.
