Amusing To Die Chicago

I picked this piece of "Chicago" for Women's Day, and it really didn't quite fit the situation.

I've heard about this movie for a long time, but never watched it. The musicals here are completely different from other films, and all the musicals and dances are done on a specially constructed stage. In Chicago, murder and imprisonment became a star, sought after by everyone, and the death of innocents became a good show for people. Everyone never pays attention to the event itself, but only pays attention to whether there is something to talk about after dinner today that can keep up with the hot search.

Some people are in disaster, and some people regard disaster as a joke or a joke.

Today, the inferiority of human beings has never changed.

Chicago quotes

  • Mona: I loved Al Lipshitz more than I could possibly say. He was a real artistic guy, sensitive, a painter. But he was always trying to find himself. He'd go out every night looking for himself. And on the way, he found Ruth. Gladys. Rosemary. And Irving. I guess you could say we broke up because of artistic differences. He saw himself as alive. And I saw him dead.

  • Roxie: It'll never work.

    Velma Kelly: Why not?

    Roxie: Because I hate you.

Velma Kelly: There's only one business where that's no problem at all.
