"Chicago"

"Chicago" Worship of God. The whole movie makes people unable to breathe in one climax after another. I feel that this is already the most extreme form of the musical genre. There is no way to advance, and it still leaves the latecomers with nowhere to go. Of course, there are still flaws. The continuous climax exhausts most of the audience's energy, resulting in the lack of the climax of the whole drama, which does not have the audience's attention in traditional movies.

Control curves. The perfect fusion of stage play and story is the result of the impressive short film "sick"

To sing, to sing similar to speaking, to combine.

The movie is just like this. The audience thinks that this is the climax and is very satisfied. There are still better ones waiting for them, and the strength will always exceed the expectations of the audience.

Since music can greatly arouse the emotions of the audience, why not make good use of it?

The singing and dancing are too frequent, and I get a little tired at the back. No matter what, I can’t be too greedy, and then I will be exhausted.

The difference from the 9-point movie is ideological, and it is a step lower.

"The Life of Songzi" has many imitations.

Movies still have to firmly grab the audience's attention, shoot what they like to watch, and first satisfy the audience's desires. Happiness is king.

Five-body cast! How can it be so good? Satire the legal system, satirize the media, and satirize the crazy era of mass carnival. The last musical that won the Oscar for best picture made "La La Land" a slag. It seems that "La La Land" is not to be expected to win the Best Picture Award. I saw a particularly good ladyboy show in Thailand, which turned out to be borrowed from this movie. I can do it ten more times! unstoppable

OMG! The heroine is actually the big fat girl in BJ's single diary! The style of the film is very unique. The two lines of singing and dancing are performed while telling the story. The black uncle who plays the piano also serves as the announcer~ I especially like the part of "Prison Tango", from the music to the choreography. Later, I found out that there was an episode in the third season of Glee, and the song was re-arranged, but it was really weak compared to the original film +_-

Chicago quotes

  • Velma Kelly: Oh, you're gonna see your sheba do the shimmy-shake... And all that jazz. Oh, she's gonna shimmy till her garters break... And all that jazz. Show her where to park her girdle. Oh, her mother's blood'll curdle if she'd hear her baby's queer for All that jazz...

  • Roxie Hart: [singing] Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes we both, oh yes we both, oh yes we both reached for the gun, the gun, the gun, the gun. Oh, yes, we both reached for the gun, for the gun.
