Prison Tango

I really like the "Prison Tango" section, where the six female prisoners use six words to represent their experiences and indignation, and the repeated singing "If you were there, if you saw this, I'm sure you would do the same thing. "It underscores the overlap and commonality of female prisoners' stories. The six sexy women ended the man's life with a bright red ribbon as a symbol of blood and hatred. Against the whole black background, the red that suddenly appears has more visual impact and expresses the tension of the theme, which makes people addicted to it.

Excessive exaggeration is easy to produce unrealistic feelings, which in turn greatly reduces the ironic effect of painstaking efforts. Fortunately, a large number of parallel cross montages have saved the film, which can be described as a major breakthrough in the performance of musical films. Personally, I think the reason why this film was infinite in those days was largely due to the college's alternative compensation for ignoring "Moulin Rouge" in the previous session. The result of overdoing it was the birth of another relatively mediocre Oscar Best Picture.
