I know I'm watching an action movie, so I don't have any requirements for the plot, it's just fine. But the action movies don't have much action, the atmosphere of the earthquake is not enough, and the tense atmosphere is also very deliberately created.
After the film ended, I only remembered the shaking big breasts of Johnson's wife and daughter, and the big breasts when his daughter bandaged Ben's thighs. If it is conservative thinking to say that because the two of them don't wear bra and feel uncomfortable in all kinds of low-cut clothes, the wife's scream is like high when the plane crashes. Chao's cry and Johnson's "I'm here, I'm here" have to be even more thought-provoking.
After watching this film, I expressed disappointment to Johnson. An action film does not use action fighting as its selling point, but instead engages in soft pornography.
Speaking of the plot, American movies have always been individualism and heroism, but this film only shows the selfishness of the male protagonist when a disaster occurs. As a rescue captain, when a disaster occurs, he rescues his wife and daughter as soon as possible, even if it is to show Heroism also has to have a foreshadowing, right? It's a pity that the film only shows selfishness, especially when Johnson plays the fire rescue captain.
Not much to say about other bugs in the plot. After all, it is a reasonable defect in heroic action films. How can you create a cool atmosphere without giving the protagonist aura. But the portrayal of bad news for Daniel's bad guy in the movie is deliberate and cliché, and I really can't bear it.
Overall, it's a lousy movie that even starring Dwayne Johnson couldn't give three stars.
