The Complete Works of Christie, about 74 copies, and the seller lost three copies. The courier sent me from Puxi, Shanghai to Pudong, 2005. Twelve years have passed, and I haven't finished it yet, but I often read some parts such as "Murder on the Orient Express", "No One Survives", and "The Massacre on the Nile". The old version of the TV series "Detective Poirot" is still sitting on the computer. The three-episode British drama "No Survivor" seems to be watched this year. Today, I will watch the new version of "Murder on the Orient Express". The beauty of a famous book is that you can read it over and over again. So a good remake is that the audience knows everything, and they will still be immersed in the scenes created by the director and actors to have fun. This film basically does that. Before watching the movie, I already knew that a bunch of big names are participating in the play, but I don't know how each person allocates the scenes and time in the movie. However, I was a little surprised by the new Poirot's beard when I saw the stills. Fortunately, when I looked at the surrealist painter Dali in the morning, I also saw a strange beard, so it was not surprising. Comparatively speaking, I still like Poirot's beard in the old TV series, does it not violate the harmony? I don't like the scene designed at the beginning of the film. Poirot in my memory has become an obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it is a bit arrogant and performative. I remember Poirot as a careful, polite, fat old man with a little personality, like Miss Marple. Did I confuse the two? Go back and read the book. But I remember Poirot's small steps and eyes well in the past. The new version of Poirot is a bit sharp-edged, a little bit like Sherlock Holmes' soul possessed. It seems that there are not a few bells and whistles in the filming now. For example, at the beginning, the reporter was so frightened that he lost the camera... Depp pretended to be a dead face. Watching the movie, I remembered Guo Degang's crosstalk who played the widow's husband. Humor. I think the biggest problem in the film is that everyone is a murderer, and they all stabbed the dead, but it's really hard to explain without a bloody suit. Unless like I said, Depp is playing a dead ghost, so blood basically doesn't splatter when he gets knifed✌️. In the process of solving the case, I felt that Poirot's thinking performance was not enough. After asking the people present, Poirot took the picture of his lover and said he couldn't understand. I think he was really confused, haha! At the end of the film, Poirot's change is also a bit urgent. From a detective who is determined to claim justice and arrest the murderer to covering up all the murderers, it seems that it is not enough to pave the way. This was supposed to be a big attraction, but unfortunately, it was almost. And Poirot was actually shot, what the hell is this? Look at Dickens' weird smile, what the hell is it? The actors are really good, no matter how many scenes, they all played their roles well. The lines are well written, the skills of the actors are also worthy, and the director's rhythm The control is good, soothing but not procrastinating, and the background music is always in the ear, which is comfortable to watch and listen to. The costumes and props are very elegant, the train is very luxurious, and a lot of work has been done. I have seen a lot of oil paintings recently. The shots in this film are beautiful. Many scenes are as beautiful as oil paintings, with flowing light and shadow. The last shot is really good, like an impressionist painting. The ending song is very nice, I checked it out, and it was "Never Forget" sung by Michelle Pfeiffer who played Mrs. Herbard in the play. If you don't watch the movie, you can also go to the Internet and listen to it. I couldn't find this song, so I could only replace it with another song she sang, with a similar key.
