Carl + Spirit = Carl Spirit

I think this movie is pretty good. I have three things from my experience:

1. Carl, professional professionals + weakness.

After getting married, he was promoted by his father-in-law as the chief designer of a real estate company. The surface was good, but he had no power at all. He obeyed his father-in-law everywhere. For example, even his father-in-law proposed to name a community under construction that did not plant an oak tree. He didn't dare to question the community. Although Karl was dissatisfied, he did not dare to show too much in the face of his powerful father-in-law and boss. On the surface, his father-in-law promoted Carl's position, but in fact this father-in-law didn't like him, and made various perverted requests to Carl, asking him to ligate him, and asking him to change his name to his wife's surname. The father-in-law finally offered to let other people take over his work, which was tantamount to being promoted and demoted back. Carl was stimulated to a complete emotional outburst out of control. In the process, we can see that although Carl is good at work (dressing professionally, high-level positions), he is essentially a weak person.

2. Du Puri, unemployed bastard + strong.

When he is out of work, he lives in a very tight life compared to Carl, so he is reduced to living in Carl’s house, but he is a very principled person. There is a clip. When he applied for a warehouse clerk, the company did not meet his holiday requirements. If he doesn’t do it, he personally pays great attention to the balance between life and work. He should not let the work take up too much time, otherwise he would rather not do it. Although we don’t necessarily have to agree with his point of view, it is worth learning to have our own personal principles. Yes, this reminds me of our ordinary people, especially fresh graduates, who don't have their own ideas and guidelines. They dare to do everything for work and do whatever the company says. It is easy to go wrong.

After watching the movie, I was thinking that if Du Puri was placed in Carl's position, Du Puri would definitely quit his father-in-law directly.

Throughout the movie, his hearty personality and distinct personality of love and hatred are very obvious. I like him very much.

3. Carl spirit.

At the climax of the movie, Du Puri persuaded Carl to bravely face his father-in-law and invented the word, Carl + spirit, which is very good.

You, Me and Dupree quotes

  • Molly Peterson: Dad, I'm going to ask you something and remember, you've never lied to me before. Do you ever really want my marriage to work?

Mr. Thompson: That's a really complicated question, Molly.

Molly Peterson: No. Actually, it's not.

  • Dupree: Bob, before I go, I have my own question for you. And remember, you've never lied to me either, as far as I know. Who did you really want to get a vasectomy? Me? Or was it, in fact, Carl?
