This is a shocking story. The film, the screenwriter was Harmony Korine, who became famous in the future with the experimental film "Gummo" of the same subject. It was written in 1993 when Korine was only 18 years old. In addition to showing the lives of a group of lower-class New York youths who are addicted to sex, drugs and alcohol, this film also portrays the exposure of humanity in the face of terminal illness and the destruction of another person's life without knowing it. After watching this film, middle-aged movie fans can better understand what a dangerous world their children are facing, or that their children may become so dangerous. This low-cost independent film was nominated by Palme d'Or and won the Best Newcomer Award for the Independent Spirit Award that year.
