Grow up as brave as Simba

I think the live-action version is very good. The content of the story is richer than before, and the image of each character has become more full.

Everyone's existence, there is always his reason, even the unknown person has something he wants to protect. And what Simba wants to protect is the Kingdom of Glory, his home, and his mission.

Disney animations are childish, so this movie doesn't quite fit the thinking of some adults. After watching The Lion King, a sentence echoed in my mind: grow up bravely like Simba.

The technology is really good, lifelike, and the little lion is especially cute, but it does feel like watching "Animal World"... (I don't understand this idea very well, other cartoons are just humanized, this theme is all humanized, the picture what)

The viewing process evoked many personal memories, but the appeal of the ideal middle-class family schema depicted by Protestant conservatism has been greatly faded. where it doesn't fit. No generation can be a perfect repeat of the previous generation, like Mufasa and Simba, and that's what it's all about.

The Lion King quotes

  • Simba: It's over, Scar.

    Scar: Have mercy on me.

Simba: Mercy? For what you did.

Scar: It was the hyenas. Those were the revolting, scavengers made me do it. I was planning on killing them all.

Simba: You fooled the hyenas? Just like you fooled me.

Scar: Simba, you wouldn't kill your only uncle.

Simba: No, Scar. I'm not like you.

Scar: Oh, Simba. You are truly noble, and I will make it up to you. Just tell me how I can prove myself. Tell me what you want me to do.

Simba: Run... Run away, Scar. Run away, and never return.

Scar: Yes. Of course... As you wish.

[looking down and seeing a pile of hot coals, began to angry]

    Scar: Your majesty!

[throws embers of fire at Simba's face]

  • Scar: Say it, Are you the king?

    Simba: No, No-I...

    Scar: Are you the king?

    Simba: No...

    Scar: No what? Say it!

    Simba: I'm nothing

Scar: Then bow to your King!

[Simba falls and hangs over the ledge of Pride Rock]
