In boxing movies, this movie can only be regarded as a medium level in terms of plot; although there are not many boxing matches that I have watched personally, but from the technical level of action blowing, this movie is very good. In fact, it is more in line with the real boxing match. So, this can basically be positioned as a movie for fans of Gyllenhaal.
As I said before, I have never missed every drama starring Gyllenhaal, from homosexual themes to crime themes to science fiction to social themes to sports themes, Jake is basically working for his future golden statuette Digging hard. Think about how he lost 30 pounds last year for the filming of "Nightcrawler". In order to make his image more "wolf-like", he often stared at one point and stayed up all night to make himself look more haggard; and now he has soared again after half a year. 15 pounds became a boxer and appeared on the screen. It was previously rumored that this film would be Gyllenhaal's smashing Austrian work, but now it seems that there is not much hope. If you are a boxing fan or Gyllenhaal fan, this movie is still worth watching, otherwise, it may not bring you much surprise.
