Written on 2008-02-23 during
English training, I watched a movie: [Behind Enemy Line], played by Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman. I sent a text message to ask Lynn if I watched it. The response I got was: I can see a comedy. Not much...I fell down at the time, but this can only be blamed on classmate Owen, who made your old man almost act in a piss movie in the past few years~ This movie is a war movie, but when you see the name of OW At that time I was a little unsure at all.

This is still a movie when OW classmates were young. A NATO fighter navigator who was tired of naval life and applied for retirement. However, he was hit by the Bosnian rebel army and his partner fell into danger during a mission (actually these two boys) Deviating from the predetermined trajectory first), the rebels killed innocent residents and sank their bodies to the bottom of the valley. This tragic scene was captured by these two men. This is why the rebels kept chasing them. The partner was shot and killed by a Seville sharpshooter, but because of NATO’s hesitating attitude towards rescuing him and the reports of inaccuracies, he kept running on his way

to desperation... This film gets bigger and says it’s a decision made by one person. In fact, it is nothing more than a manifestation of American heroism. The movie assigns this characteristic to a naval navigator who is capable but does not want to continue to serve, and sets him to follow NATO’s superiors after the accident. There will be conflicts about whether to rescue him. In the end, after all the hardships, he finally escaped to heaven and brought out the evidence. The movie ended perfectly~~

For girls, this kind of war movie is actually not interesting. I originally planned to sleep, but because of some action scenes, It's more exciting, so I will continue to watch it. Some plots are quite funny, such as OW hiding under the dead man’s pit and the rebels chasing him. The images captured by the NATO military from the satellite show that the rebels have come to OW’s side and even step on him. Now, the generals here are always nervously muttering: He is going to be arrested, he is killed? The rebels there wandered around and found no one left again. As a result, the NATO military faced the image-the rebels stepped on OW and left, and OW got up and ran away-wondering. There is also that the hunter accidentally stepped on a landmine, and the expression of walking and not staying or not is an old laugh~~

I heard from the teacher that this film was strongly recommended by the opposite English teacher. Actually, it feels okay. To die is to receive another American-style heroism education, the right to entertain.

Behind Enemy Lines quotes

  • Admiral Reigart: Our man is down behind enemy lines, now what the fuck is the problem?

Admiral Piquet: [Yelling] Do you have any idea how much damage this incident may cause to the peace process?

Admiral Reigart: All I know, Admiral, is that the American people want their pilot back.

Admiral Piquet: Exactly! Americans, all you care about is your own damn pilots! What happens when the fighting starts again? Will America recommit its forces to stop a major war? No, you don't have any control over that little detail, do you? You might have helped save your man today, Reigart, and I emphasize 'might', but you risk the lives of thousands tomorrow.

  • Chris Burnett: [Burnett learns that he and Stackhouse are being assigned to a reconnaissance mission over Bosnia] Son of a bitch!

    [Stackhouse comes up to Burnett]

Chris Burnett: [Referring to Admiral Reigart] Did you see this? He put us on the holiday mission! God damn it!

Stackhouse: Yeah, well look on the bright side, at least we get to fly, right?

Chris Burnett: Yeah, during the one good meal of the year, it's almost as if he doesn't like us.

Stackhouse: [Jokingly] No, you. Not me. You.
