The plot is very simple. Sophie, who is about to get married, has never known who her biological father is. She accidentally learned in her mother's diary that three men may be her biological father, so she wrote to them and invited them to participate in her own. At the wedding, all three of them came. In fact, even Sophie's mother Donna didn't know which of the three was Sophie's own father, but in the end, all three of them were willing to be one-third of Sophie's father.
There are two most impressive scenes in the movie.
One was when Sophie was getting married, Donna helped Sophie organize her manners and wear her wedding dress. The mother looked at her grown-up daughter, who was about to leave her and marry a wife. She was reluctant to part:
that morning
she waved
goodbye bag
a smile
Path to the school
watch her turn
that sadness suddenly
embrace
no more tears
can't help
do you leave me
never come back
and your world
how can it be without me
I wish I could accompany you
live together
and happy every moment
time flies
no way back
can not be retained
every feeling
now and later
time flies
no way back
...
It sings the emotions of every mother when facing the child's reluctance to leave home, fearing that the child will be wronged outside.
Another scene is that at Sophie's wedding, Sam and Donna solved the misunderstanding for many years. Sam confessed to Donna again. After 20 years, the two were together again.
The ending becomes unexpected as the plot develops, and it makes sense.
Well, and the music in it is very good, it is indeed a song created by the Swedish national treasure band.
