"The Lone Ranger" the lone ranger - American rivers and lakes

Hollywood has always had the rule that old handsome guys lead young handsome guys to debut, such as Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in "Interview with the Vampire", but the former is unfortunately crushed by the latter's appearance; for example, in "Eleven Arhats" George Clooney and Matt Damon; like Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in "The Lone Ranger"... but it's a pity that the "Lone Ranger" was not a hit.

Completely attracted by Oliver in "Call me by your name", I found his previous movies to watch. After "The Social Network" and "Hoover" passed by, I continued to watch "The Lone Ranger". Movies I have seen a few years ago, I vaguely remember being funny at the time, but this time I re-opened it, and combined with the environment of the western development of the United States at that time, chewing it carefully has another flavor.

This film is similar to "A Million Ways to Die in the West" in that it tells an absurd story in serious language. I used to not understand what magic realism is, but now I understand that some things that seem absurd but actually happen are magic realism. From this point of view, the film can also be called magical realism. The western development of the United States is as legendary as our martial arts world, and the western cowboy is as mysterious as a martial arts master. During the Great Western Expansion, it was not only a stage of rapid development in which the United States held its flag high and sang its triumphant song all the way, but also a history of blood and tears of Indians and early immigrants. Describing this big expansion through a fictional character and a comical story is not a blockbuster in the market, but it is a good storytelling method.

Indian soup, although a minority in the film, also represents most of the Indians who disappeared. The huge difference in cultural development makes the simple Indians unable to resist the various conspiracies and tricks of the white people. Tang Tou has lived in his own guilt and persistence all his life. Because the white man's greed for silver mines caused the demise of entire tribes, and all this was caused by the hot head. He has no tribe, no relatives, no belonging, and only the black bird that died at that time was with him all his life. This taxidermied black bird accompanies Tang Tou and becomes the only bridge between him and the past.

Johnny Depp is good at playing these weird characters. He took off his pirate suit and brought this skinny Indian to life. He was rambunctious, he seemed confused but he was shrewd, he always survived, he lost an entire tribe but made himself a legend . And this special funny combination of him and Amy is neither handsome nor cool, and they are disgraced all the way, but under this extreme difference, we can't help laughing.

As for Amy, she has not had a particularly outstanding image since her debut, and only started to shine in "Call me by your name". On the other hand, in this film, apart from the neat suit and gentleness in the first few minutes, the whole process is full of disfigurement, disguise, disguise and image. He is a handsome guy who was tossed by the soup and turned into a scumbag thief, wandering between pros and cons. .

The story of the film is lackluster, but it has several merits. In addition to the two major protagonists, the old and small mode, the special effects of the film are first-class.

This movie has not been introduced in China, so I can only watch it sitting in front of a projector. But seeing the horses galloping past in the desert filled with yellow sand, not only the realistic images but also the perfect soundtrack rumbled along with the horses' hooves. The train in the film is said to be a real train made by the crew at a high cost. The scene of the train galloping is extremely rare, especially there are many scenes of running, fighting, and even riding on the train carriage. The bridge that appears at the end of the film is majestic and visually stunning, and it is worth seeing.

There are also special angles for the description of black and white in the film. The seemingly righteous agent of the railway company was actually the culprit in destroying the Tangtou tribe, and even joined forces with vicious partners to attack the settlements of the whites, blaming the Indians, and finally caused the disaster of another tribe of Indians. And the captain, who attacked the Indian tribe indiscriminately, and when he knew the truth, would be wrong. The seemingly barbaric Indians actually saw it very clearly in this war, but the world has no right to speak, and they can only perish with the other side. The dexterous hands of the Indian tribal leader repaired the broken clock in just a few strokes.

There is also the perfect restoration of the western wasteland in the film, which makes people seem to be in the era of the Great Leap Forward. With the booming of the train, the civilization has sailed to the unknown and barbaric land. Transforming Texas into a new city.

And the most outstanding part of the film is the cold and humorous passages in it. Tang Tou and White Horse's chattering dialogue made the legend of Soul Walker difficult to distinguish between true and false. Tang Tou's ridicule and irony of the Lone Ranger made Amy's nerdy image more realistic. Even at the end of the play, he refused to give Amy a positive image, haha, poor Amy, not even as good as the one who died young Brother is so cool and comfortable.

A little thought about silver mines: The average man is innocent, but he is guilty. If the Americas didn't have massive silver mines, it wouldn't have attracted greedy Spaniards, and the Mayan civilization wouldn't have been so dead. The massacre of Indians was also caused by this greed. As stated in the film, the evil emanating from this ore aroused the greed of the whites and led to the demise of many Indian tribes. In the end, dust returns to dust, the silver mine sinks with the train at the source of the river where it was once discovered, and everything is happy. It's just that fiction is fiction after all. How can such a great wealth not be discovered? All the efforts made by the soup are just a little extension of the rapid expansion of the white people, and the racial fate of the entire Indians has not improved much. .

The supporting role in the film, how can the eccentric Helena Bonham Carter be missing, and how can she be missing from Johnny Depp's film. Two people, the same dark cuisine, are really handy and effortless for all kinds of weird characters. It is clearly a delicate blooming rose, but it is so strange and enchanting.

Originally, I repainted this movie for Amy, but I was still fanned by Uncle Depp. It seems that if Amy wants to go further, she still needs to release her charm more flamboyantly. Just like Oliver, being a shining movie star is really suitable for him. Do your best to attract more people's attention and love! Wish there was a sequel soon!

the lone ranger: The ranger refers to the mounted police, the duty of the lone ranger's brother. The translation of the film as Lone Ranger is also more appropriate, but it seems that it has nothing to do with the duties of the mounted police assigned by society. It is more appropriate to translate it as "Lone Ranger", but it is not as imposing as the Lone Ranger.
