Fringe is obviously still walking the old way of x horror sci-fi, whether it is from the disgusting interior scene of the plane in the first episode or the crippling retinal look back in the third episode, it is easy to see the shadow of x. However, X is obviously more creative in terms of creativity, incorporating elements such as aliens, super technology, etc., which is more psychological than fringe. And the crazy persistence and exploration of the male protagonist in X is also a boost to the strong atmosphere of X.
