Five stars, the charm of old movies, maybe that's it. It cannot be said that this is a perfect film. The characters are too flat, and the so-called extreme opposition between good and evil has become its almost fatal flaw. When watching the movie, when I look at Linna as the second female lead, I can always clearly feel that the film is mean to her. It seems that the film is too standardized and too "eight-like", but it makes people feel bad about Linna. The character is a little distressed. In addition, songs and dances are sometimes too concentrated, some lengthy, and because they are too exaggerated, it is easy to make people feel inexplicably drowsy, and thoughts occasionally drift out of the clouds. But the five-star rating is still true. The joy it conveys is so pure, awkward and graceful, that people always return to the fun of the movie itself. The lines are meticulously crafted. Although the story is simple or even thin, it is always unforgettable, surpassing The Sound of Music, and even later generations of "The Artist" and "La La Land", not as good as the dance in the rain, and The sentence "From now on, I only care about you as a fan" is as gorgeous as fireworks in the depths of the soul. Every time I watch their skilled dance, I can't help exclaiming. Compared with most of the current films, it is no longer difficult to settle down. It has the dazzling and heavy feeling of the past. And the play within the play that satisfies curiosity, and Hollywood's extreme irony of itself - the contrast between Tang's speech and memory, it is more like a bitter truth. A film about cinema, a thought, a history of the transition from silent to sound. Tang speech 04:25 Song in the rain 01:07:06 Long silk scarf 01:24:36

8.2/10 I still feel that as a musical, its songs and dances are long and boring and meaningless, but the song in the rain is so classic that people can't help but like it. Still love the moment when Jim Kelly called out that she was the real heroine, and when I was a little kid, that was the moment when I really found out about the movie.
