If you use the apocalypse movie to appreciate this film, it may be bland, not brilliant, without any bright spots, and there are many complaints.
I don't think that's the case. My recent personal experience has made me watch and think from watching movies to another part. The things that boys do and look at are out of line with this background. In reality, when I was a child, even as an adult , Is there not much to worry about for the parents? By the end of the film, the father fell, leaving the boy himself. Isn't it the time when he should face this fucking world alone?
If the film comes to an abrupt end when his father tells him to continue to go south, no matter when he should not give up hope... Then the ending may not be the same if it continues. The boy did not meet that family and fell directly and was brutally murdered, or the ending of the film.
