The harvest of this year’s cartoon is quite a bit weaker than the previous two years, but there are still good productions such as "How to Train Your Dragon", "Toy Story 3", and "Shrek 4". As for "Despicable Me" and " I haven't read "Super villain" before, so I don't dare to comment on it. The appearance of "Owl Kingdom", compared with the ones I have watched, may be slightly worse in the story, which seems quite satisfactory. But in terms of production standards, they are not inferior to them, and even surpassed. Zach Schneider is relatively unconcerned, he is completely first-rate in terms of visual control.
Those owls that we think look the same in daily life have their own distinctive characters and are linked to their own personalities. And above the dynamics, when the owls flew up, the feeling was unseen, and the subtle movements were also very clearly outlined. The soft feathers quivered slightly in the wind, and the small water droplets passed gently between the feathers. The small sparks jumping behind the wings made people feel like they were on the scene. It seems that the owl flying in the sky is himself, and he sees the scenery as he sees it. In contrast, the image of "How to Train Your Dragon" and the production of animation are a bit rough, and the image of "Toy Story 3" also looks a little bit dull. Although this is related to the strategy of the production company, when it comes to perfection, it is still It's a little bit short. The production level of "Owl Kingdom" is absolutely top-notch. As far as I have seen, this year's animation is the best produced.
But the story of "Owl Kingdom" dragged the overall score somewhat. An evil king wanted to inform the entire Owl Kingdom under the banner of pedigree, but a young year escaped because he did not dare to be controlled, found a team of defenders composed of various cat heads, and launched a Jedi counterattack. This story seems rather old-fashioned, of course, for children, the contrast between good and evil is so obvious and helpful for them to understand. But the banner of Zach Schneider, after all, brought people too much expectations. In the story, everyone also hopes to see more of an adult. In other words, the side of pedigree theory looks a lot like Nazi methods. Whether it is mind control, or the image and flag of the team, it seems to have borrowed many things from the Nazis. The guardian side seems to be the Allied side. This kind of direct reference and comparison also gives people a feeling of laziness, as if the same story is simply applied to the owl. This is a little bit unreasonable to the masses.
But this is just the beginning of the series. For the smaller little owl, there seems to be more stories about her growth. So, will Zach Schneider continue? From Watchman to Guardians, and then? Everyone is still looking forward to it. But, in the next movie, will the story look better?
