This is another dystopian movie

Because the innocent girl in the dormitory chose this as the English script for the midterm exam, she watched this movie. The biggest feeling after reading it is that "peter pan" turned out to be such a subversive fairy tale hidden in the fairy tale.
When I was a child, I watched the story of "peter pan", and the impression left was that the little girl Wendy was immersed in fairy tales and did not want to grow up. Later, she met Peter Pan, who also did not want to grow up, and followed him to Worry-Free Island. They defeated The evil Captain Cook.
Let's analyze it carefully, is it true?
First of all, the Chinese translation "Worry Island" deceived us for a long time. "Worry-free" creates a fairy tale-like illusion, as if children living in it can forget their worries, can not enter the world, and never grow up. However, the original English name of "Worry-free Island" is neverland, and the full translation should be "Never Island", which means that there will never be a world where people can maintain their childlike innocence. Love will surely occur, and the ugliness cannot be eliminated, children. Beautiful fantasy is neverland, even when they were young, they couldn't exist.
And Neverland is not a beautiful land in the story. The children who did not want to grow up fled their homes, escaped from the society and parents that forced them to grow up, but still yearned for their parents. Parents are undoubtedly a symbol of restraint. They escaped from one kind of restraint, but unconsciously still demanding another kind of restraint. This oppressed desire penetrates into the bone marrow and becomes a collective unconscious. It is similar to the people's desire for a benevolent monarch, who can be a obedience under the blessing, instead of pursuing a different life. And Peter Pan played the role of the children's father, which also symbolized that although he hated his parents' desire to grow up and ran away for it, he still took a position he hated. The only sign of not growing up is love. In order to strengthen his belief that he will never grow up, Peter Pan did everything he could, even hurting Wendy and the elf who purely love him. But in fact, such pure love has nothing to do with the world, so Wendy did not grow up, and Peter Pan was the one who was really bound by the world. When he yelled at Wendy who showed his feelings to him: "No one can force me to grow up", his heart has truly left his innocent childhood. Neverland is Peter Pan’s imagination, a kingdom he built. The evil that exists is to show his justice, and the goodness of existence must meet his standards. How can such a hometown represent a worry-free hometown? How can a simple judgment of one person represent all children? Even if there is no big brother watching everyone at all times, after all, Peter Pan built the good and evil and standards of a world with one person's will, which in itself is a kind of dictatorship.
This kind of dictatorship is especially visible in a fragment of the film. In the last war between Peter Pan and the pirates, Peter Pan, who was already driven to a dead end by the pirates, was stimulated by a kiss from Wendy. He turned defeat into victory. The pirates desperately thought of happy things and wanted to fly, but eventually they fell. Go to the mouth of the crocodile to be buried in the sea. Kissing is an absolute taboo in Peter Pan's world, because it represents growing up; and it is an absolute rule in this world that happy things can make people fly. But because the world was shaped according to Peter Pan's will, the rules were subverted in the blink of an eye, and the good in his heart defeated the evil in his heart by violating the rules of the world. This is a terrible ability to turn hands and cover hands and rain. If it really happens in the real world, who would dare to say that this is just a beautiful fairy tale in the hearts of children?
In the end, the children returned to the real world, and there were not so beautiful but true and lovely lives waiting for them. This may be the only expression of the film’s return from cruelty to warmth. Fortunately, Neverland does not exist, never exists.
