I have to admit that I knew about this movie because of the "Seven Samurai". In order to watch this movie, I also reviewed the "Seven Samurai". I watched this movie expectantly when I knew the general story. It was a bit small. Disappointed. Two people in the front were joined too hastily. Two people in the back died too hastily. In other words, they were gathered together in a sloppy way.. The people were arranged to die again in a vague way. Yes. A guy who seems to have a lot of roles but not much role. It is a little dragon set with a star face.. The story structure of the original work is there. It is not too bad.. However, it is not as good as ``Seven Samurai'' in terms of the depth of the theme. .. I always feel that it is a bit reluctant to put such a story on the western theme... Is that small Mexican village so pitiful? It looks like it was raised by bandits...After all, it is different from the background of the Warring States period in ``Seven Samurai''. The social hierarchy is strict. The farmers consider themselves humble. They dare not resist... But the Mexican people are so bloodless. Even if you can’t get weapons. But the men in the village are, anyhow, men who work every day. The village chief is so wise. He can’t organize the masses to arm himself in self-defense. Or explain that the small village has fought bravely twice but failed. Okay...It can be seen that the Americans still discriminate against Mexicans in their bones.. Screenwriter It’s so unpredictable... Anyway, after watching it, there is not much "righteousness" feeling like "Seven Samurai"... Westerns are better than the Redemption series.
