Been looking forward to seeing both Stallone and Schwarzenegger play together, and it turned out to be a long wait for Schwarzenegger to play.
However, Shi Shen's appearance has been completely overshadowed by the high-IQ Stallone. Originally, I felt that Stallone had completely become the soul of the whole film, but was slightly shocked by the final ending.
Prison escape master Stallone originally came to investigate whether the prison was unbreakable, but was accidentally framed by his boss. So, the old man tried his best to escape. In this way, a higher IQ Schwarzenegger appeared.
Schwarzenegger seems to be controlled by Stallone everywhere, but in the end it seems to be within his control.
The warden seems to be shrewd, but he commits two crimes again and again.
The first is that the nails in the confinement room fell off. He began to suspect that Stallone escaped and began to pay attention. When he closed Stallone, he was persuaded by Stallone's remarks. In fact, as long as he thought about it a little deeper, he knew that this was a hoax. He has the initiative of Stallone's freedom, and there is absolutely no need to do anything with him. As long as he locks up Stallone for a few years, and then tries his best to torture him and destroy his willpower, he will not attack himself in the end. But he was too confident in his prison and too greedy, so he actually let Stallone go back.
Secondly, he knew that Stallone and Schwarzenegger had a good relationship, but he did not analyze it carefully, and listened to the words of an Arab prisoner, which was really naive and lovely. As everyone knows, the prisoner's words are the most unbelievable.
In the end, he actually began to lose confidence in the prison he designed, and gave wrong orders everywhere, causing Stallone to use his various wrong orders to escape.
The warden is a typical person who is a little smart but not wise. Feeling a little smart, I get carried away. As soon as you realize that others are more powerful, you begin to doubt yourself. Such people are doomed to fail.
And the whole story has become Stallone and Schwarzenegger using their high IQ to abuse the low IQ of the warden.
And Schwarzenegger used his high IQ to give Stallone a big chess. Finally, let Stallone thank him.
So, the whole story becomes an IQ battle.
Although it is a lot more exaggerated than Hitchcock's original work, and some plots seem a bit unreasonable, but overall it is still good. The plot is gripping and suitable for watching in a movie theater.
