A passable

I had some spare time last night and went to the premiere of Valkyrie.

There was also a small premiere before the movie started, with a former host, an unknown actor, and a small director. I didn't hear what they said, but I heard a classmate in the front row with a camera shout: Tom Cruise didn't come? Everyone happy.

Brother Tom asked everyone Happy New Year in Chinese in the VCR.

The film is barely passable. Sure enough, it's just "Atang with a blindfold". The little confidence in Tom's acting skills inspired by Tropical Thunder collapsed again. But objectively speaking, such a lone hero is easy to be masked and difficult to play well.

The whole film is quite boring, and there is no climax, and the story goes straight all the way. It is said that the director said "this is a suspense thriller", but in fact there is no suspense, and everyone already knew that the assassination was unsuccessful.

The Colonel's wife is played by the heroine in the black book, and she has always had a rare Hollywood star quality in the first half of the last century. But not counting the heroine, there are no female scenes in this film.

Some old actors who look familiar are playing in it, so Tom is more beautiful but even worse.

In short, if you have spare time and money, um, spare money, you might as well watch it. It's not very exciting, but it's not too bad to watch.

What a good material, such a Hollywood-style sloppy filming...

Much better than Inglourious Basterds. Brother Tang is so handsome regardless of his height! ! !

Valkyrie quotes

  • General Friedrich Fromm: I'll hear you say it Colonel!

Col. Claus von Stauffenberg: [angrily turns and raises false arm] Heil Hitler!

  • Erich Fellgiebel: And you think that makes me a sympathizer, hey? Give a man a choice of betraying his fellow officer or his Fuhrer and you think his actions will show you his heart.

Col. Claus von Stauffenberg: It's not that simple.

Erich Fellgiebel: Yes. Yes it is. For the last time, don't push me to make a decision.

Col. Claus von Stauffenberg: I don't have a choice, it's clear now. Without you there is no hope of success.

Erich Fellgiebel: You're nothing but rats jumping from a sinking ship! What makes you think you'll be any different? What makes you think you're stronger than the people, the Reich? The very momentum of history?
