This used to be a very nice model. My favorite animation clip is A Whole New World in "Aladdin" (I later found out that it was actually sung by Aunt Lea!!). However, Jasmine had longed for this new world from the beginning. It could be said that this was her inner self, it just needed an opportunity. And most of the characters don't seem to need a new world, at least not from their lives in the film. It's just that people rarely seem to think that loners have a world of their own, but are usually willing to believe that loneliness is the rejection of any world, or the unwillingness to escape from a world of hardship out of fear. Whereas the former rescuers were usually cute, brave, beautiful and colorful, now they only need to be lively.
