Some netizens mentioned this film before, but they didn't pay attention until Oscar. Hugo of Martin Scorsese, and George Clooney, the actor, wanted to see what was going on.

It's been a long time since I watched a silent film on the big screen. You only get this chance when you're in college. Seeing Charlie Chaplin (plus live music) at the City Hall (or Cultural Center?) last time (last year?) is of course another story. Oh, let's count the Metropolis remake that I watched last year.

French director French actor, but the theme is Hollywood in 1927, and most of the actors are French actors.

There is no dialogue, most of it is the soundtrack, but there is really no dullness at all. However, we (we) were really bold, and we chose the show at 11:00 pm on weekends to test our stamina.

See why it won, because it pays homage to the film's homage to silent film, to Hollywood.

I like the anti-tradition of stories. It's not that the heroine is soaring up with men, but that the woman does not forget who she was when she became famous, and she doesn't dislike him when his career went downhill. Kind of worthless for George Clooney, although I haven't watched The Decendants.

There are Hollywood actors: such as James Cromwell and John Goodman.
