The worst of the new trilogy. Really disappointing. How disappointed are you? It took me three splits to barely finish reading it.
In addition to Star Trek's name and the scene of the swarm attacking Yorktown, from the stereotyped and meaningless lines and plots, the shallow emotional portrayal, to the music, art and camera usage that are far inferior to the previous work. What is even more disappointing is the portrayal of the villain that makes people feel no sense of crisis. The motives and positions of the characters are unclear and illogical.
It really humiliates the illustrious name of the series. Six points of rotten popcorn can't be more.
