The Enterprise has been in space for three years, and is two years away from completing the "five-year plan." When the spacecraft arrived at the Yorktown base, it received a mission: to rescue the crew of the M-class planet-Otaimed in unmarked airspace.

The Enterprise was ambushed and destroyed by Crowe's "Bee" fleet. Except for Kirk, Chekov, Spock, "Old Bones" and Scott, the rest of the crew was captured.

Crowe finds an ancient weapon, the Ebonase, with which he plans to destroy the Yorktown base. Kirk and his party entered and activated the first warp-4 capable starship on Earth, the USS Franklin, and successfully disrupted the flight patterns of the "Bee" fleet with an explosive DJ, causing them to crash into each other.

Crowe is actually Edison, the captain of the USS Franklin, and has lived for a long time using a certain technology. He wants to destroy the Yorktown base with Ebonase, but Kirk successfully stops him.

Elder Spock passed away. New member Zyra, later joined the Federation starship. Kirk could have been promoted to lieutenant general on the condition that he could no longer fly. But Kirk wanted to fly, so he refused.

The whole person was very tired before watching it, and I felt like I was about to fall asleep. Fortunately, the film was better, and I woke up again. BGM burns.

Three and a half stars, Captain America, Avengers, X-Men, Interstellar and other series have all become action films in sci-fi skins, and the plots are basically the same routine, no surprises, let alone science fiction. . . Alas, looking forward to "Arrival".

Star Trek Beyond quotes

  • Commander Spock: Leaving me behind will significantly increase your chances of survival, Doctor.

Doctor 'Bones' McCoy: Well, that's damn chivalrous of you, but completely out of the question.

Commander Spock: It is imperative that you locate any surviving crew.

Doctor 'Bones' McCoy: And here I was thinking you cared.

[Three of Krall's drone ships approach]

Commander Spock: Of course I care, Leonard. I always assumed my respect for you was clear. The dialogue we have had across the years has always...

Doctor 'Bones' McCoy: It's okay, Spock. You don't have to say it.

[Spock and Bones are surrounded by the drones]

Doctor 'Bones' McCoy: Well, at least I won't die alone.

[Spock is beamed away from behind Bones]

Doctor 'Bones' McCoy: Well, that's just typical.

  • Captain James T. Kirk: I'm one year older.

Doctor 'Bones' McCoy: Yep, that's usually how it works.

Captain James T. Kirk: [referring to his father] A year older than he ever got to be.
