[Descendants], the story consists of two main lines. One is the process from anger to forgiveness after lawyer Matt in Honolulu, Hawaii, was seriously injured and paralyzed in an accident and found that she had already betrayed herself and her marriage. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name [The Descentants]. I tried hard to scrutinize the author's and director's intention for this naming. One of Matt's narration impressed me deeply: ... The genius of the movie is that it did not make such a theme full of sadness and depression, but told the story soothingly in a dark humorous way. George Clooney put aside his always sexy and chic image, and delicately portrayed a solid and mature middle-aged man with restrained performance.
