I was tempted by Sucker Punch's stunning trailer for half a year, and I was disappointed to go to the cinema today. The director is completely entertaining himself, and the fight scenes are okay, but the whole movie has no sense of substitution at all, and within 90 minutes of watching something that has nothing to do with him happening, he is neither nervous nor concerned. There is always a voice telling myself plainly that all this is a fantasy, and it's all fake - it's amazing that the director can do this.
