Freeman said that someone did a survey among 1,000 people and asked you if you would like to know the exact time of your death in advance, and 96% of the people answered that they would not. If it were me, I would. People are very strange, they clearly understand the truth, and they clearly know that the future is unpredictable, but they always feel that the time is still long. The doctor said Edward only had six months and Carer had one year. However, in just three months, Carer's condition was facing great changes, and he suddenly felt that the world was impermanent.
In Carer, most people can see themselves and think that in the last few months of life, it is unbelievable and impossible to give up treatment, leave the family to skydive, and run around the world.
From Edward, I can see a kind of free and easy temperament, but there is also a kind of self-esteem of successful people, the ills of wanting face, missing his daughter and afraid of being rejected.
Two lives that were originally parallel lines, but intersected due to illness. One is a wanton fanatical rich man and the other is a step-by-step ordinary car mechanic met in the ward.
Several touching moments are gathered in the back 1/3 of the movie. At the end of the trip, on the flight back home, Edward murmured 'America', and the two of them looked out the window lonelyly at the scenery, pulling my mind back to reality from the happy and crazy trip ahead - this is the two a dying life.
Tears moment:
✨Edward kissed his granddaughter, ✓ lost the affection of 'kiss the most beautiful girl in the world', and the family defeated the beauty of the world
✨Carer flirted with his wife of more than 40 years when he returned home, feeling helpless like a young boy in his early twenties
✨Assistant Matthew climbed Mount Everest with difficulty, took out the Can containing Edward's ashes from his backpack, and put it into the box hidden by the heavy snow, where there was Carer's Can. He smiled, ✓ on 'Witness something turly majestie', leaving them and that crazy Bucket List illegally on top of the mountain forever.
So, what's on my bucket list? Is there anything that must be done in this life?
