go with the wind

It is said that the duty of a soldier is to obey orders, but what if it is a wrong order? The fighting heroes of the past have become hunted vagabonds. Their task on the battlefield is to kill the enemy, but the order itself is wrong and unjust. All the merits on the battlefield were written off, and the hero was reduced to everyone's scorn.

Rambo's idea is very simple, he may be used to the orders and obedience in the army, and there will inevitably be a gap when he returns to the life of ordinary people. It just so happened that he was being treated rudely at this time, stirring up painful memories of his time in the war, and it got out of hand.

Perhaps these soldiers never thought of participating in this war, but on the battlefield, they had to kill to save their lives. When the war is over, they will no longer be soldiers, but no one is responsible for how to live in the future

  • [Rambo takes over an Army truck]

    Rambo: Drive!

    [Army driver glances at him]

Rambo: Don't look at me, look at the road! That's how accidents happen.

    Rambo: [beat] What's your name?

    Guardsman #3: Cathcart, Robert A.

Rambo: What have you got in the back, Robert A?

    Guardsman #3: M-60

Rambo: [beat] Okay! Robert A! Get out of the truck!

Guardsman #3: Please. I got no beef with you.

Rambo: GO ON! Get out! Go home!

[throws Cathcart out of the truck]

  • State Police Capt. Dave Kern: Why didn't you leave the kid alone in the first place?

Teasle: Dammit, Dave, you think this kid just waltzed into town, announced he was a Medal Of Honor winner, and then I just leaned on him for the hell of it? I tried to do him a favor, I treated him like he was one of my neighbor's kids. I did my job, Dave, I booked him for vagrancy and resisting arrest.

State Police Capt. Dave Kern: You seem pretty motivated on this one.

Teasle: Why don't you go out there and take a look at what's left of my men? You'll see how motivated I am, Dave, and if that doesn't do it for you why don't you go have a talk with Art Gault's widow?

State Police Capt. Dave Kern: All right, Will, I read you. Listen, I got twenty-five men I can bring up from Monroe.

Teasle: [calming down] All right Dave, I can use them. We've got a lot of ground to cover.
