In fact, this is not the first time I have watched this film. A few years ago, when the film first came out, I saw a gun film, and the impression was very vague, because the picture was always dark, and the faces of foreigners all over Zhengchen were all the same, so it was not clear who was who. But there were still a few shots that left a deep impression on me: the old mother slumped under the porch, seeing the wide-eyed eyes of the tank’s muzzle facing his sniper, Tom Hanks sat slumped. Next to the tank, he shot the tank with a pistol, and the tank actually told him to explode (Of course, when I watched it the second time last night, I realized that the tank was not bombed by him, but bombed by planes.)
Humanity + heroism seems to be the main intention of this kind of American film. This film also exaggerated the cruel reality of the war, otherwise, how could it take such a long time to show the landing for a period of time. Every time I watch this kind of big scene, I admire the director's skill: it can be retracted and unfolded freely, which allows you to see the panorama as well as the individual activities in it. This is how the distance between the audience and the film is eliminated. For example, before landing, the expression of everyone's tension is different: some kiss the cross, some hands are shaking unconsciously. When landing, people of all kinds in the rain of bullets waited: some people who broke their arms looked for their arms everywhere, and then found the broken arm and held it in his hand at a loss; Tom Hanks dragged a wounded comrade, and after a bomb, he dragged it The man continued to run. In fact, the audience saw that there was only half of the man left, but Tom Hanks in the film ran for a long time before discovering; the seriously injured wounded lay there and kept calling his mother; a bullet It hit a soldier’s helmet. Just as the soldier took off his helmet, his head was smashed by another bullet... These details, in fact, are only a few seconds each, but they make us immersive. I saw the war and deeply felt the cruelty of the war. It is said that some people have criticized the film for being too bloody. Well, I admit that this is almost the most realistic and detailed war scene I have ever seen, and it is indeed bloody that I can't bear to witness it. But isn't the war made up of the sorrow, joy, life and death of all living people? The director just presented it truly. This kind of touch and shock will make us realize the inhumanity of war and the value of peace. This should be the original intention of the director.
When watching the film, I was very disgusted with that little translator. Because of his cowardice, he could have saved the comrade who was fighting with the German soldiers, and that comrade would not have to die. When he saw the German come downstairs, he actually raised his hand to surrender. I can't wait to rush into the screen and slap him twice. But think again after the film is over, this is the real war. Not everyone is like the captain played by Tom Hanks, who can quickly switch roles and become a real soldier. There are people of any personality, and everyone's ability to bear is different. Some people find it difficult to overcome their fears. How can someone like me who have never experienced war blame others?
In short, this is a good movie. If China can make such a film, it can be used as a patriotic education film.
