The ubiquitous narration is so dramatic that it's almost becoming a biography of Berger. Did Berger take Saint Laurent as his private property? No wonder Bertrand did not hesitate to make a scene of his own "YSL Biography". The costumes are all YSL originals, so gorgeous that I want to kneel and lick; the soundtrack is surprisingly good. Other than that, the plot is pale.
