Robert Doniger: Yeah, yeah, look. We need cultural experts, not scientists. My people simply don't know about the medieval world, or how to mingle with the locals, which is what we're gonna have to do, if we're going to find the professor and bring him back.

Marek: So that's it? We just step on that machine and wiz back to 1357?
Lady Claire: Andre Marek. Are you married?
Marek: I just delivered her to the French for safekeeping. *How* did the English get her?

Professor Johnston: It's history.

Marek: Then history will change
Lady Claire: [Interpreting for Marek] He is very grateful you returned his sister.

Lord Arnaut: [Picks up his sword threateningly at Marek] You're English!

Marek: [Hurriedly] No, I'm Scottish.

Lady Claire: Arnaut, he saved the life of one of your men.

It's hard to applaud it. Don't know what this movie is going to show? We watch historical war movies, we watch Braveheart, we watch science fiction movies, we watch time machines, we watch action movies, we watch Qin Ji (also better than this). . . . What reason do we have to look at this?
