Although it seems to be a familiar routine now, this film does have an undeniable influence on later horror films, especially religious themes. It seems that children on bicycles were later borrowed by "The Shining"? Parker is so graceful and charming in whatever movie he's in.

The music is well matched, and the use of the camera is also very prominent. From a subjective perspective, the camera is almost as frightening as the face, and it is far superior to most thrillers without playing a frightening horror.
