The Condemned Quotes

  • Jack Conrad: Sounds like you've had a hard life.

    Ewan McStarley: Yeah.

Jack Conrad: Good thing it's over.

  • Ian Breckel: What were you doing in El Salvador?

Jack Conrad: Working on my tan.

Ian Breckel: Why did you blow the building up?

Jack Conrad: It was blocking my sun.

  • Ian Breckel: Well, where are you from back in the states then, huh?

    Jack Conrad: Alaska

    Ian Breckel: Alasks. Whereabouts?

Jack Conrad: About 80 miles north of Anchorage. Little fishing town. You probably heard of it. It's called Fuck Your Mama.

  • Jack Conrad: You know, I don't know who you are, and I don't care. But I don't play games.

Ian Breckel: You don't have to win... but everbody plays

  • Jack Conrad: [to Petr] If you stay down, we don't have a problem.

Jack Conrad: [after Petr gets up] Oh, we have a big fucking problem!

  • Ian Breckel: It's a very simple game, live or die.

  • Donna Sereno: [TV interview] That means that kids can log on and watch murder.

Ian Breckel: Yeah sure they can, if they have a credit card.

  • Baxter: [explaining the rules to everybody] Okay. Listen up, gang. On your ankle, you all have a rig packed with twenty ounces of plastic explosive. Twenty ounces. That's enough to incinerate you, your dog... and the small house you may be residing in at the time. In exactly thirty hours from now, that plastic explosive will do what it does best. You want that rig removed from your ankle, simply be the sole survivor in thirty hours from now. There are two other ways to detonate an ankle rig. One: You see that red pull tab? Yank on that, and after a ten-second delay, boom. Two: Tamper with the rig, you mess with the wires, you try and pick the lock, instantly, without delay... boom. It's a very simple game. Kill... or die.

  • 'Goldy' Goldman: [unable to locate Conrad on his monitor] Nope. No.

[turns to Ian, feeling a bit nervous]

'Goldy' Goldman: Okay, uh, Breck, as you can see, the American, Yul Brynner, he is gone. He is off my monitors completely. I had him and then I lost him, and the reason why I lost him is because he is headed towards us. And I did not rig cameras where we are at. And quite frankly, um... it's-it's just...

    [stutters]

    'Goldy' Goldman: ... it's disturbing.

    Ian Breckel: Relax, Goldy.

'Goldy' Goldman: Um, you know what? I'm-I'm gonna relax when killers and rapists are on the other side of the island. Is that cool?

Baxter: [after a brief pause] I'll find him.

  • 'Goldy' Goldman: [describing his boss Breckel] Genius. The man could sell dirt to a ditch digger.

  • Camouflage Cameraman: [McStarley points his shotgun at him] ... I'm just a cameraman!

    Ewan McStarley: Film this.

    [shoots him]
