The ghostly poetry and harsh reality produced a wonderful chemical reaction in Ramsay's [Mousetrap]. The image of stagnant water has a pivotal position in the movie, stagnant and dirty like a palace of death; but at the same time it contains a huge potential for fluidity, which is what poetry looks like in intuition.
