Catwoman Quotes

  • Laurel Hedare: Game over!

    Catwoman: Guess what? It's overtime!

  • [repeated line]

    Patience Philips: Oh, my bad!

  • [last lines]

Catwoman: [voiceover] The day I died was the day I started to live. In my old life, I longed for someone to see what was special in me. You did, and for that, you'll always be in my heart. But what I really needed was for me to see it. And now I do. You're a good man, Tom. But you live in a world that has no place for someone like me. You see, sometimes I'm good. Oh, I'm very good. But sometimes I'm bad. But only as bad as I wanna be. Freedom is power. To live a life untamed and unafraid is the gift that I've been given, and so my journey begins.

  • [first lines]

Catwoman: [voiceover] It all started on the day that I died. If there had been an obituary, it would have described the unremarkable life of an unremarkable woman, survived by no one. But there was no obituary, because the day that I died was also the day I started to live. But that comes later. This was my life. Days blended together, consistently ordinary, thanks to a job that was the practical version of my passion. I was supposed to be an artist by now. Instead, I was designing ads for beauty cream.

  • Laurel Hedare: I was everything they wanted me to be. I was never more beautiful. Never more powerful. And then I turned 40 and they threw me away.

  • Catwoman: White Russian, no ice, no vodka... hold the Kahlua.

  • Patience Philips: [to thieves] Amateurs! You boys thought you could come in here and steal all these beautiful things? What a purrrfect idea!

  • Lance: Hey! Man sandwich! Twelve o'clock!

  • [as he's scratched and interrogated by Catwoman]

George Hedare: Get your paws off of me!

  • Laurel Hedare: If you have no identity, why keep it a secret?

    Catwoman: Because you killed me.

  • Catwoman: Meow.

  • Laurel Hedare: I'm a woman, I'm used to doing things I don't want to do.

  • Tom Lone: Hello, Miss Phillips.

    Patience Philips: Hi.

    [to Sally]

Patience Philips: This is the officer I was telling you about from earlier.

Tom Lone: Detective Lone. Tom Lone.

Sally: God that's such a good name. Tom Lone rhymes with cone, bone, phone. Not the rhyming's all that important. I must be in my cubicle alone.

  • Catwoman: Time to accessorize!

  • Ophelia: Midnight.

    Patience Philips: I'm sorry.

    Ophelia: Her name.

    [Talking about her cat]

Ophelia: She's an Egyptian Mau, the rarest of breeds. Temple cats. It's said that Maus have special powers.

Patience Philips: Like popping out of nowhere? I know.

    Ophelia: Among other things.

  • Catwoman: [Pets Midnight while holding a black cat mask] You saved my life, Midnight. But somebody killed me and I've got to find out who and why.

  • Wesley: Mr. Hedare wanted me to inform you that he'll be at the factory for the rest of the afternoon.

Laurel Hedare: If by the factory you mean he's at the Four Seasons teaching Drina how to unlock the minibar. Consider me informed.

Wesley: But he said he'll be working with...

Laurel Hedare: Wesley, George hasn't said anything meaningful to me since he said "I do".

  • Catwoman: You like bad girls?

Tom Lone: Only if they like me back.

  • Patience Philips: I'm sorry!

George Hedare: Sorry? Sorry is not nearly enough!

Patience Philips: Ok, then lemme try the remix. I'm sorry for every second I wasted working for an UNtalented, UNethical, egomaniac like you!

George Hedare: Clean out your cubicle. You are fired.

  • Catwoman: Cats come when they feel like it. Not when they're told.

  • George Hedare: DON'T! Don't speak. EVER. Consider it a condition of our relationship.

  • Drina: I think this is so boring.

    George Hedare: Don't.

    Drina: What?

George Hedare: Think. Consider this a condition of our relationship.

  • Ophelia: Catwomen are not contained by the rules of society. You follow your own desires. This is both a blessing and a curse. You will often be alone and misunderstood, but you will experience a freedom other women will never know. You are a Catwoman. Every sight, every smell, every sound, incredibly heightened. Fierce independence, total confidence, inhuman reflexes.

Patience Philips: So I'm not Patience anymore?

Ophelia: You are Patience. And you are Catwoman. Accept it, child. You've spent a lifetime caged. By accepting who you are - all of who you are... you can be free. And freedom is power.

  • Ophelia: Bastet is a rarity. The Goddess of the moon and of the sun. She represents the duality in all women, docile yet aggressive, nurturing yet ferocious.

  • Ophelia: You died, but you were reborn. Midnight knew your fate, that's why she tested you, to see if you were worthy of a gift she could give you, a gift that could change your life, and give you a new one. You are not alone child, she saved others before you, look.

  • Laurel Hedare: [to Catwoman] You're not a hero, you're just a little girl playing dress up.

  • Laurel Hedare: [Deleted scene] You ask me, I think you look fabulous.

Patience Philips: Well, maybe, he is right.

Laurel Hedare: Making people feel small is his game. You can't win. You got to refuse to play.

Patience Philips: But, I thought I knew what he wanted.

Laurel Hedare: Don't feel bad, honey. So did I.

  • Drina: I think this is a total waste of time.

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve watched too many movies of this superhero type, my eyes are tired, or there are many flaws in the plot of the movie. Compared with other movies, in this movie, the rivalry between Catwoman and the villain is poor, and it’s not enjoyable to watch. Always feel a lot empty. (Although Catwoman in Batman Forever is only a supporting role, her character characterization is more distinct than this protagonist. The two protagonists dress differently and have similar but different experiences.)

I always thought it was 9 years, because Berry is still so young, his body is still so good, and the sense of picture is very poor, but it turned out to be 2004, hey, I am speechless!
