De Palma's genius work, it is a bit of a waste to hold on to the small flaws in the plot. The play is surprising and romantic, and the technique is perfect. It is no exaggeration to say that it can be justified. It's on the same shelf as "The Great Conspiracy", "Zoom" and Hitchcock's DVDs.
