After a lapse of ten years, the concept of changing from a bad film to a classic

John. Boorman is an excellent and individual director. He has directed various types of films. "Four Warriors of Torrent", "Frightening Step by Step", "General" and "Hope and Glory" are his four most classic works. In 1974, he filmed a sci-fi film "Zardoz" with a strong artistic color, but it was scolded by film critics when it was released. Even The New Yorker, which is usually very art-tolerant, considered it a film with "cultural rubbish."

You murdered your own god by an accident

I haven't been this excited to watch a movie in a long time. Reminds me of "The Matrix" more than ten years ago, both are abstract philosophical films, fables about autocracy, democracy, rule, faith, science, and utopia. Of course, "Zardoz" is no match for "The Matrix" in terms of amazing and admirable characters and special effects. It is strongly suspected that this play accounts for most of the cost of Sean Connery's salary, and the characters in shorts. The special effects of images and...

Does ZARDOZ mean anything? And even if it does, even if we manage to disengage some relatively coherent “statement” from this complicated entanglement of plot and image, is it just possible...

Although Connery only wore a pair of red shorts, 'Sardus' was actually serious

In the selection of some of the worst looks in film history, the first-generation James Bond actor and handsome British old man Sean Connery is often on the list. Of course, it wasn't 007's gentleman look or the later images of those who got older and more supportive, but what caught the eye was Sean Connery's weird savage look with big sideburns and big braids wearing only red underwear.

This image comes from the 1974 British film "Sardus". But even with this stunning look of Sean...

      commemorate childhood

I haven't seen this movie for a long time. This movie brought an unimaginable shock to my childhood. It is still fresh in my memory to this day. It is probably written that a character similar to a savage played by Sean broke in. A place similar to Utopia.
      1. In Utopia, there is only life but not death, everyone is immortal, and the living environment is like a fairyland and various high-tech. However, they have no sex. . . . Humans are cultivated.
      2. People in Utopia will gradually...

[Consuella points to a diagram of an erect penis and scrotum]

Consuella: Of course, we all know the physical process involved, but not the link between stimulus and response. There seems to be a correlation with violence, with fear. Many hanged men died with an erection. You are all more or less aware of our intensive researches into this subject. Sexuality declined probably because we no longer needed to procreate. Eternals soon discovered that erection was impossible to achieve. And we are no longer victims of this violent, convulsive act which so debased women and betrayed men. This Brutal...

Consuella: ...like other primates living unselfconscious lives, is capable of spontaneous and reflexive erection. As part of May's studies of this creature, we're trying to find, once again, the link between erotic stimulation and erection. This experiment will measure autoerotic stimulation of the cortex, leading to erection.
