      Wildlife--Great Job In All Aspects

Relying on the original delicate structure and meticulous details of the novel, the narrative of "Wild Life" is smooth and tense. Paul Dano was not alone in the adaptation. His multi-talented girlfriend and actor, Zoe Kazan, who had participated in the screenwriting of the two co-starring films, was also bound to become his screenwriter partner this time. The way the two take turns conceiving and writing separately is obviously effective, and the play of "Wild Life"...

"I think I'm wasted on you." It's so sad.

I didn't expect this kind of "Wild Life" before watching it.

Jerry was depressed after losing his job, and then he chose to escape to the forest to put out the fire. He went to Jeanette to take the man home and take his son to the man's house for dinner. Then Jerry came back and got back to the state and said that he had found a job and could move to another house by the way. , Jeanette admitted that someone else had rented an apartment outside, and Jerry ran to burn Miller's house in...

'Wild Life': A family portrait that made people cry

The first half of the film is actually very slow and peaceful and requires patience, but the second half is heartbreaking, especially the last shot at the end, which eventually brought me to tears. In fact, this is a very small film with few characters in total, and it tells the struggle of a very ordinary working family in the United States, but it represents thousands of broken families. For the children in these families, there may be many reasons for their parents to get married, but the...

      Wildlife Long Review

The 2018 New York Film Festival was opened by "Wild Life", and it is a good choice to watch it now. Last year, I watched "Florida Paradise" at this time. Due to the high expectations, I was a little disappointed when I admitted that I was amazed after watching it. This year, Paul Dano's directorial debut is just the opposite. After adjusting his expectations appropriately, he feels that it is a rather comfortable film. "No obvious flaws and failures" is a more appropriate evaluation of this...

      A child's deepest fear

This can be said to be the deepest fear of a child. The most fearful thing after a child is the divorce of his parents and the breakdown of the family. This is even the reason why many families are still married now, just to give their children a seemingly complete home. This film observes the brokenness of a family from the perspective of a child. It seems cruel. The child becomes an adult overnight, with maturity that should not be expected at that age. Adults only care about their own...

An extended film version of the Julianne Moore branch of "The Hours". From the perspective of a child, it shows the turmoil brought to a family in the early stage of the awakening of women's independence consciousness. But at the end, Carey Mulligan's rosy eyes still left a warm aftertaste to the...

Amazed how quickly Mulligan has aged. That vicissitudes of life is really not like a 34-year-old, but a 43-year-old. Paul.Dano's debut film is like this, and there is no surprise for a dime. It's too bad. I've always felt that Paul.Dano's ambition was a little bit more than...
