"Where is the Truth" is Another Way of Suspense

The Canadian film "Where is the Truth?" takes another suspenseful path. I was amazed and thought that in the narrative of the plot. Multi-lined the talented director is using the all-around perspective to borrow the rational exploration of the parties, multi-lined and multi-faceted, around the death of a woman fifteen years ago, the glamorous surface of the American entertainment industry has been peeled off layer by layer. Unlike Keigo Higashino, who is driven by emotion but still...

Grasp the details, you can restore the truth

      A good crime investigation film.
Because she received help from others when she was a child, the heroine, who became a reporter when she grew up, accepted the job of interviewing her former benefactor with reverence. Finally...
This movie is different from other types of crime movies, and it is just the opposite of "Instinct". It just digs out the truth of yesterday's case, and restores the case step by step in the entertainment circle of co-authoring pornography and drug addiction,...

      naked truth

Canadian Armenian director Atom Egoyan, I have loved his films since his "Exotica" (Sexy Club) (1994). Later I watched "The Sweet Hereafter" ( 1997) and "Felicia's Journey" (You Are My Lamb) (1999), I saw a big HMV sale in Canada once and bought a three-in-one VHS tapes (no mistake, it's a video tape, not a DVD/VCD, it's cheap. !), including "The Adjuster" (after-sales service) (1991), "Calendar" (calendar experience) (1993), and "Exotica" (1994), the tapes are still at home and have been in...

      Where the Truth Lies

Just look at the name of the movie, there are two explanations: 1. Where is the truth? 2. The truth is deceptive. The two explanations just fit the meaning of the two movies: the truth, which didn't appear in the movie until the last few minutes. For a long time, the truth that the two male protagonists have understood is also a misunderstanding.
I have seen a lot of these kinds of dramas, and I don't have much comment. I just want to say: the ending seems a bit unexpected. It's not...

Why so many people didn't understand it. .

      1. Ruben wanted to use the so-called truth to blackmail Vincent 1 million, for which Vincent had to write an autobiography to pay. But in order to maximize the interests of both parties, Vincent's autobiography needs to cover up this layer of truth. Therefore, during the interview, Vincent deliberately cited the topic of prostitution that night. Lanny also knew this, so he started to write his memoir very cooperatively, so that the heroine would write a biography in the wrong direction after...

To be reasonable, the story itself is actually pretty good. Ordinarily, it should be to let everyone gradually understand a profound homosexuality - but this narrative does not show the connotation it should have... I just want to complain that you use such a heavy filter in the picture. What is it for? Then there are too many self-narrations in this part of the heroine, and the part about her is not more organically integrated with the overall story. It is isolated from the outside, and the...

    Movie plot

Lanny and Vince were well-known "comedy partners" in Hollywood in the 1950s, and a huge reputation came with various vices. One day, a dead woman was found in the hotel room where they lived. The two were exempt from prosecution due to the alibi and various related strong evidence, which ended their acting career. Twenty years later, the young female reporter O'Connor plans to write a biography for the pair of former stars, and thus...

    Evaluation action

The plot of "Where the Truth Lies" focuses on three characters, Lenny, Vince and O'Connor. In the film, Lanny and Vince are a pair of very different characters. Colin Firth plays Vince, who is tall, straightforward and gentle, while Kevin Bacon plays Lenny but stupid and dull, and his words and deeds are often used as jokes. In the film, Lanny’s dances are impressive, and Vince does not have too many exaggerated comedic actions in the...
