Movie Review: The Ultimate Weapon: Bow

#final weapon: bow#--This film has nothing to do with any national ideology. The first half has a common problem with Korean movies, that is, the rhythm is slow, but the second half is wonderful. Although killing the crown prince of the Qing Dynasty is purely YY, the scene of fighting arrows in the jungle is excellent in composition, editing, music, and performance, and it is worth watching. In addition, the soldiers of the Qing Dynasty all speak Manchu, which is at least better than many...

In response to the film review published by "Two Angles", please stop yelling!

The following is a quote from a reply to the film review of "Liangjiao":

"The country's soft egg is a matter of leaders. If there is a nation, there is a sense of nationality. From the standpoint, you don't allow Chinese people to insult Asambangzi, you are insulting yourself, unless you are not Chinese.
"On the aspect of film culture, Chinese people are really unqualified, and they have no face to despise and insult South Korea and India. "On

      a little awkward

Looking at it, I suddenly found it a little awkward, and found that those who seem to be very strong are actually Chinese, Qing Dynasty, my God. My emotions changed all of a sudden, seeing that awesome archer shooting those Qing Dynasty people to death one by one, it always feels weird, hehe.
But to tell the truth, that archer's battlefield literacy is really high, and he surrounded so many people and took care of them one by one. It's really awesome, it reminds me of the elf prince from...

      Don't think you're just a victim

"The Ultimate Weapon: Bow", describes the brutal war when the Manchu Qing invaded Korea: Bingzi random.

Using living people as targets; killing babies and throwing them into wells; strangling innocent people to death; raping women; killing prisoners... These tricks are not unfamiliar to us, but they have never been so straightforwardly presented to us by other countries. And the invaders are us. Although it is the former Manchu Qing Dynasty, there is always a strong sense of...

Very good film, very well made, but the plot can actually be more compact. Finally, I have to say, is it really appropriate for the heroine's name to be "china"? ? ?...

    Behind the scenes gags

    ● The film is Korea's first costume action film based on bows and arrows.
    ● The historical materials referenced in the film are mostly from Luo Wanjia (1592-1642)'s "Bingzilu" and some of Ding Ruoyong's works. In order to stay close to Qing history, the crew also made special reference to a large number of Chinese Qing palace operas.
    ● More than 400 horses were used in the film, and 50 war horses were used at the same time for the...

    Creative background

At the beginning of the 17th century, there were frequent party fights and political turmoil. The King of Korea, who had just ended the Japanese rebellion with the help of the Ming Dynasty, faced the emerging Jurchen military power in Liaodong. The weak national power and sharp internal and external conflicts led to the decline of North Korea’s national power and the lack of livelihood for the people. From 1636 to 1637, the Manchu...

    Main creative team

Director Han-minKim is best at horror themes. This film is a transformation of his work, hoping to broaden his subject area, especially to challenge his own ability to control magnificent themes. In order to show the charm of archery more realistically, martial arts instructor Zhang Chunxie not only looked through a large number of related documents, but also received help and guidance from domestic archery professionals, especially...

    Evaluation action

Although it is a costume action movie, the theme and story material of the film are very novel. The plot is tortuous and the action scenes are magnificent. (Film Online Review) The  plot arrangement and action fights are quite compact and exciting, and the constant sense of tension and urgency is unprecedented in many historical dramas. Some people liken it to the Korean version of "Apocalypse."   In addition to the two protagonists'...
