Wag the Dog--Show Business is Not a Good Business

Just kidding. How can this movie have only so many reviews? This quote from the title is the one that impressed me the most about the film's lines. That's not what it means, but that's probably what it means. After the Chen Yongzhou incident came out, the newsman's old face was once again lost. The very interesting phenomenon is that when I complained about the integrity of journalists on WeChat Moments, the same...

      we made history

The lens language of this film is very interesting. One of the points I caught is that the sudden change of the depth of field seems to alienate the audience from the story, making us realize that this film is also a product of "producing", not reality.

Throughout this film, Stanley has been emphasizing that everything is "producing", and the media has produced reality and created history. The war in the minds of Americans is only a few pictures and videos they see through the media....

      After watching "Wagtail Dog"

I first heard that this movie was in Bai Yansong's book, and Bai Yansong revealed that it was a movie about TV media manipulating public opinion to change the presidential election. Hence the interest to see it. The film wasn't as exciting as expected, and the storyline wasn't as engrossing. I didn't pay much attention during the entire viewing process. It seems that I have to say that the subject I want to express is good. It profoundly illustrates that with the development of the times and...

Some Inadequacies and Reflections on Movies

This video was recommended by the campaign workshop teacher. I want to see how the so-called political crisis management works.
In fact, there are still many unexplainable places in the film. For example, the sudden death of Schumann is different from the previous reports. It is unrealistic for competitors to take effective countermeasures and let their support rate continue to decline. . I don't know much about politics but I feel like it's never going to be easy. In fact, I know...

Are the once classics of "Wagging the Tail Dog" necessarily a role model?

Is a classic ever a role model? Do all the classics have to be copied and studied in full?

The translated name of "Zuo Da Hero" is very similar to the Hong Kong style, straightforward and unexplainable. Compared with "Wagtail Dog", it is closer to the meaning and the author's intention. The title subtitles explain, usually the dog wagging the tail, which is the right of the dog to the tail, but if it has the ability, the tail can also wag the dog.

      Barry Levinson, famous, has won...

    Evaluation action

"Wag the Dog" is a witty black comedy. The film’s exquisite narrative technique sharply reveals the ugly relationship between politicians, the media and Hollywood in American political life, and a dramatic and ingenious satire on the White House   . The film captures the similarities and differences between politicians, the news media, and Hollywood, and makes a political scandal film unconventional.  . Although politicians are the...

    Movie quotes

    • Stanley Motss: Look at that! That is a complete fucking fraud, and it looks a hundred percent real. It's the best work I've ever done in my life, because it's so honest.

    • Stanley Motss: This is politics at its finest.

    • Winifred Ames: How are we going to explain that when the world is watching?

Stanley Motss: Fuck the world. Try a ten a.m. script meeting, coked to the gills, no sleep and you haven't even read the treatment.
