      Unforgivable - An Anti-Genre Paradigm

In 1992, the film "Unforgivable," directed and starred by Clint Eastwood, came out and became a must-see classic in Westerns. It was rated as "the last great Western" by Empire magazine., and will never be surpassed." Here, I will analyze the film from four themes to understand what the film really wants to...

Unforgivable | Strength interprets what is a real western killer

What is your impression of killer movies?

Is it like Rinio in "The Matrix", playing with sticks and hiding bullets?

Or like Tom, who is omnipotent in "Mission Impossible"?

Although the killer I want to talk about today is not...

Have seen Eastwood's western trilogy to be eligible to comment

A classic is always a classic, and what makes this movie different from other westerns when the sharpshooter gets old?

If you look at it with the concept of upholding justice and doing justice for the heavens, then you will never understand this movie, there are no good people and no bad people, there are no good and no bad things, there may only be those personalities.

The story is very simple. A prostitute in...

      The last great western

The westerns that once swept through an era have almost died out today. Obviously, westerns can no longer meet the needs of contemporary audiences. If it is the "old cowboy" Clint Eastwood who can still make classic westerns today, he is definitely an old man. "Red Dead Redemption", "Red Dead Redemption" and "Red Dead Redemption" dominated the screen in the 1960s and 1970s and created an era of Westerns, even if the quality of the current trilogy is of trans-generational significance....

Want to talk about the town sheriff and the British gunman

The sheriff tells another version of the story to shatter the writer's fantasy, the British gunman says nothing, then the sheriff gives the British gunman a chance to duel, the British gunman gives up and is sent away in shame.
After reading some comments, the general opinion is that the sheriff is telling the truth, and the British gunman is a ruthless villain who only sneaks up on the enemy. So, is that really the case?
      I don't think so.
First of all, the British Gunners came...

In 1993, he won the Oscar for Best Director, Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Editing four awards, and was nominated for Best Actor (lost to Al Pacino's "Scent of a Woman"). This is the retrospective of the declining western cowboy films in the 1990s, Dongmu's representative work. Bad people are not evil, good people are not good, black and white are cloudy. There is no definition of "should and should not" and no boundaries of right and wrong. What made the killer come out was not...

Watching Eastwood's films is like reading Lu Simian's books. The never-falling Stars and Stripes advocates the word simplicity. Quickly draw the gun with one hand, hold it steady with both hands. Steady is more accurate than fast. Blind people can kill people, and niggas talk about love, but justice still depends on fast-paced horses, and every bullet destroys an enemy. Royal gunmen have their own names, and women and children have their own names. Westworld is rooted in joy and anger. Reading...

The bloody murder of a prostitute in the Wild West. Just one question: Lian Po is old, can he still eat? Unexpectedly, the old-fashioned fearless. The spirit of the West is on the wasteland, on horseback, in the muzzle of the gun, in the whip, in the blood and sweat, in the rainstorm, and even more in the brave heart. In the days when I used to be worried, the time when I used to be all-powerful, with the blowing of the spring breeze and the swing of the grassland, I slowly obeyed the call,...

Never liked Westerns, this is the only exception. I never imagined that this movie is so sad, an unforgivable man with a past and guilt on his shoulders, a twilight hero, and the power of forbearance that gathers in...

    Evaluation action

The rule of the machismo school in "Unforgivable", in summary, only the unwavering violence made Eastwood famous . (" Time " magazine review), this film is Eastwood's best film directed after "Outlaw My Wells" in 1976 . (" Movie " Magazine Review)

    • Little Bill Daggett: Now Ned, them whores are going to tell different lies than you. And when their lies ain't the same as your lies... Well, I ain't gonna hurt no woman. But I'm gonna hurt you. And not gentle like before... but bad.

    • Little Bill Daggett: You been talking about that Queen of yours, again, Bob?

      [punches him]

Little Bill Daggett: On Independence Day?

    • W.W. Beauchamp: Who, uh, who'd you kill first?

      Will Munny: Huh?

W.W. Beauchamp: When confronted by superior numbers, an experienced gunfighter will always fire on the best shot first.

      Will Munny: Is that so?

W.W. Beauchamp: Yeah, Little Bill told me that. And you probably killed him first, didn't you?

Will Munny: I was lucky in the order, but I've always been lucky when it comes to killin' folks.

W.W. Beauchamp: And so, who was next? It was Clyde, right? You must have killed Clyde. Well, it could have been Deputy Andy. Wasn't it? Or, or...

[Will points the rifle in his face]

Will Munny: All I can tell you is who's gonna be last.
