2 Days in New York (2 Days in New York, 2012)

      1. 2 Days in New York (2012) The real "conflict" on the main body of the story is not the kind of vain conflict between the culture, habits, concepts, and attitudes of life brought about by the families of the two countries. It is just the plot. The dramatic and comedic elements of the setting; the real serious conflict in the core of the story is that all the actions of the characters in the story conflict with their inner "love", and they lose coordination and...

      A star from Julie Delpy

      I
’ve seen the beauty of Julie, the second part of the series, and I ’ve seen it,
and I ’ll understand the American French femininity
that is different from Tato and Marion . I don’t know how French people think of her,
but I think American men should be. Incomparably useful. Is
n't such a real, romantic and life coexisting woman the
      best partner?

But at the end of the story, it was disappointing. The
off-line dad and sister disrupted the whole plot...

Context is the mother of laughter

No matter how open the Americans are, they cannot understand the extroversion of the French; no matter how conservative they are, they cannot understand the introversion of the Americans. Thus, a farce comparable to twelve cats grabbing a fur ball broke out.

If you are proficient in English and French, you must adjust your mentality before watching the movie. Don't get too deep into the movie, otherwise the moment you walk out of the movie theater, there must be twenty-four cats...

      To Marie.....

I haven't watched "Two Days in Paris", it is probably the ex Jack mentioned in the film.

To Marie mentioned at the end of the film, the director remembered his mother, was seen in "before Sunset" and passed away in 2009.

If you look at it as an entertainment movie, it is not very rich in entertainment elements, but as an author's movie, I think it is still successful. It is so similar to the family around us. It is not as happy as imagined. The sisters...

      Everyone has a play

Very good, a movie to watch on the weekend night.

Look at New York from the perspective of the French, and look at the United States. It's actually pretty good. The running part feels like a German movie where Laura is running fast.

Conflict and rhythm are good, but the black brother at first had a little drama. It feels like a new yorker. There are not too many stalks about "white women dating black men" with the white heroine, but there are many stalking about the French....

As a Frenchman, Julie Delpy really made France go black. The story is indeed very Woody Allen, but Julie Delpy is more talkative than him. The little laughter and various unexpected plots make the whole movie watching process very enjoyable. , The heroine dad is really...

I guess the funny thing about this movie is that no one is like anyone. The French are not like French, and the African Americans are not like African Americans. You have never seen a Chris Rock with Woody Allen glasses. I dare not imagine that Julie Delpe would become like this. In addition, some of the ideas are awesome. The poster...

The fans of the previous work passed by, and I still didn't say that I admired delpy, but also talked about culture shock. This off-line is more than humorous. Whether it's "I Love You" or "Two Days of Love", New York can't photograph Paris, what's going...

Messy, noisy, joyous. Americans are always inexplicably envious and arrogant to the French, just like a bad relationship. Three and a...

    Behind the scenes gags

Julie Dieer wrote, directed and acted again after "Two Days in Paris". This time she moved the scene to New York and played a Manhattan couple Mary Wing and Mingus with Chris Rock, and they each took their own Children live together.
One day, Mary Wing’s family suddenly visited the United States, only to discover that the cultural differences between her and her boyfriend made her family have many stereotypes and even conflicts with...

    Movie quotes

    • Rose: America is cool! Can I sell my soul too?

    • Marion: If you live your life with one person only, one day they'll be gone or you'll be gone. And one of you will be left in the cold world. The family we are born in eventually vanishes. By then you have created your own family if you're lucky. First you have to choose the person you'll build this family with, and stick to it as much as possible. How many tries do you get before you strike out? When my mother died, just a few hours before the end, she looked in my eyes and had the expression of a little girl who didn't know what was happening to her. The same as when Lulu was born. Something totally pure. So I guess we can do all the growing up we can. In the end, at the core, we stay the same. But before that sad ending that awaits all of us, maybe we can share beautiful, ephemeral moments with the people we love.
