      mob redemption

The story is old-fashioned. People still like to appreciate the process of repentance, and they are always good at praising their own humanity. The thugs don't know why they kill, they may just be insecure trapped beasts, and loaded guns can't hide their vulnerability. Weapon hegemony wipes out all communication, and that is extreme mistrust. Man is treated like a crop—the objectification of man is the dissolution of the meaning of the soul, and the contempt for life is even more frightening....

      fate

When a person can know his own life, he already has the beginning of life, but he does not know the end. The boy in the mob also has life, and in the environment where he grew up, in the desolate slums of Africa, he could not find the destination of life - the mission of life. He is passive, a soul wandering around a place full of hunger, plague, and decadence, only to survive the laws of its environment. They can't create, or they have been deprived of the right to create from birth, so they...

Gangster Mob / Redemption <The formation of the mob and the difference between the rich and the poor>

In addition to directing, acting properly, and having a smooth plot, an excellent film should be considered in the current political context; and a great film reflects its political foresight. The so-called literature and art serve politics. "Gangster Thugs" is a good film not a great one. Although it won what kind of Oscar last year, the outrageous thing is that when it was introduced in China, it is said that there was a disagreement on the title of the film. It seems that the world will be...

      Trauma in South Africa

The story is not novel. A gangster gangster accidentally "saved" and "adopted" a victim's child, and was slowly inspired by his unshakable conscience. Unfortunately, at the end, I still cried . Not because of this story, but because of the heaviness of South Africa. How many such stories are happening in such a post-colonial land, and how much helplessness is there? Such problems (education, wealth gap, violence, Crime, domestic violence and gender power disparities, apartheid, cultural GHETTO...

      human, too human

The first time I saw a South African film, I felt honored and saw a great film. Watching such a movie can awaken our inner conscience. I think the movie is a great existence to me. When I saw the name of the movie, I thought it was about gangster-themed movies such as "The Godfather", "Once Upon a Time in America", and "The Mafia".

I have strong feelings for black people, even though black people have nothing to do with me. It's a South African movie after all, and it's full...

Redemption, bondage and other words don't really suit me...I just like the tone and color of the film...South Africa is far away from me, but the picture is right in front of me. All the way lyrical coupled with the protagonist's thug identity, there is a strong contrast to me. Maybe the ending is his best home~...
