Want to make life have a story? then you have to have character

The main thread that runs through the film is family in concrete terms, and betrayal in abstract terms (in the opinion of director Hunter himself).

I have to say that several of the main characters in the movie are representative of character machines. It is natural to promote the development of contradictions in the play.

Starting from the heroine April, she is a typical middle-aged female teacher in elementary school. She likes children very much. She is upright,...

      Tolerance or casual

The main reason for giving Samsung is that she is a little angry and the heroine keeps stressing that she does not want to adopt a Chinese child, and the little girl who appears at the end of the film is too much like Mulan in the cartoon. From this point of view, Americans are really stubborn, always insisting on their own views that lack objectivity.
The movie is still quite interesting, and let me see the thick lines of foreigners again. The ex-husband abandoned her inexplicably and...

      Will I find you?

-I am perfect by the way. I am glad you've noticed.

      + I miss you.
      -How much?
      + A lot
      ...-Enough?

      + It's not masculine. It's sexy.
      -How sexy?

      + Is it too much?
      -Maybe... I don't know... No.
      + Good.

+ This is the man who sees me. Who sees me and still wanna be with me.

+I will hurt you, again and again. Not like that. But I would hurt you in other ways, little ways I won't mean to but I will. And sometimes I will mean...

      Don't whitewash, don't pretend.

Life is cruel, but Helen Hunt slowly said in such a warm language.
Very touched, the kind of percussion into the heart.
I really like Helen Hunt, who is completely plain in the movie, just like her movie. Although the cruelty of life is all written on her vicissitudes of life, her smile can still make people feel so warm.
Someone once told me that this woman was so beautiful, but at that time I didn't know how to appreciate this beautiful woman. Like this kind of movie, like the...

Uncle, why have you acted in so many movies that are not and have nothing! The heroine + the director, Aunt Helen Hunt, is still the old face of the queen. Sometimes it really frightens me to find my uncle to play the role! Uncle again The BJ suit is handsome, but he is almost a cannon fodder. Why are you so angry with the...

    Movie plot

Female teacher April Ipner ( played by Helen Hunt) found that being young and getting rid of the confusion of life are two different things. Adopted since childhood, she often feels low self-esteem, and the shadow of abandonment is always lingering, and she has been worrying about not being pregnant after getting married. Ben hopes to seek comfort from the marriage, but her husband Ben (Matthew Broderick) claims to be unable to adapt...

    Evaluation action

The film is not a typical "New Oriental" story, it does not reflect the perseverance and positive life theme, nor is it a replica of another Hollywood-style plot. The film is full of trouble and it feels depressing. Watching the film feels like diving, occasionally breathing a breath of fresh air on the water, and then being pressed back to the bottom of the sea, it is difficult to be excited, so that the audience will be forced to...

    Movie quotes

    • April Epner: I know what I did to you, to you in particular. Kinda worst nightmare kind of thing, right? I knew that. Even at the time I knew that.

      Frank: What else?

April Epner: I'll do it again, I will, I'll hurt you again and again. Not like that, you'd have to leave me if I hurt you like that. If we were together you would leave me if I hurt you like that again, wouldn't you?

      Frank: Yes. Yes, I would.

April Epner: Good. But I'll hurt you in other ways, little ways, I won't mean to but I will. And sometimes I will mean to.

Frank: This is quite an offer you've worked out.

April Epner: You'll hurt me too, you know. You'll hurt me and change on me, you might even leave me after you promise you won't, how about that?

      Frank: I wouldn't.

      April Epner: But you might.

      Frank: But I wouldn't.

      April Epner: But... you might.

Frank: Yeah, I guess I might.

    • Jimmy Ray: [on phone] Hello?

      April Epner: ...Nevermind.

      Jimmy Ray: What?

April Epner: I have the wrong number...

      Jimmy Ray: Ms. Epner?

      April Epner: Hello?

Jimmy Ray: Hi, it's Jimmy Ray.

    • Frank: Why are you talking so fast?

April Epner: Because I don't think Jimmy Ray should know that I'm here.

Frank: Well if we're going to be family he should probably know he didn't just dream you up half-naked in his house and besides he knows you're here.

April Epner: No he doesn't! I was very careful to wait until he was a safe distance away.

      Jimmy Ray: Hi, Ms. Epner!

      April Epner: Hi, Jimmy Ray.
