Cage has a sad face, especially his eyes.
The whole film comes alive because of his face. Oh. I forgot what I wanted to say. Midlife crisis, I'm not yet that age, I don't have kids, I'm not even married. But soon, isn't it? I don't want to be like Mr. Meteorology, with a booming career and a declining family, even if I stand in a position that everyone admires.
No one can predict the future. But it is conceivable to have a good career, a job you like, and other people like yourself at...

Life really sucks.
Day in and day out, life is copying and pasting. People like to describe a state of helplessness as a lost bird, but I would rather call it a lost plane, gliding in the wide, unobstructed stratosphere without the guidance of a ground-based navigation system. If you're unlucky enough to go up and down the troposphere, you'll have to look for its remains somewhere in the world.
The lost plane, this is not a metaphor for a "midlife crisis", because I'm still...

Speaking of Nicolas Cage, his iconic long face naturally appeared in front of him.
As a powerful Hollywood star, his scope can be described as extensive.
From action films, war films, thrillers, romance films, to literary films, it can be said that it is fully blooming.
I have seen many of his films, some famous ones more than once.
Strange to say, every time I watch one of his films, there is always something that impresses me.
A few days ago I watched his "Lord...

I always feel that Cage will only act in films like that kind of national treasure, and it is not suitable for taking the small warmth route, but I cried while watching this drama.
It's a little over to say that I feel the same way. The mid-life crisis is not something I can fully understand, but there are some parts that still have feelings.
As Robert said, writing a novel is a matter of writing several times, and only when you are proficient can you write it well. The same...

In a movie that feels cold, everything seems to be in a deserted and broken state.
In the plain camera narration, it seems that the clock of life is reaching the crisis of middle age.
Nothing that has meaning is easy.
Easy doesn't enter into grown-up life. Nothing that has meaning is easy
. There is no easy word in adult life.
Do you know that the harder thing to do and the right thing to do... are usually the same thing
?...

2006.7.27 Life always has to learn to give up, to give up some things that do not belong to oneself, to face the real and bleak life, to learn to be oneself, to accept suffering, to accept ridicule, not easy, true life. In the past six months, I have read a lot about middle-aged Crisis movies, only to find that everyone has a crisis, but the number line continues to rise with age, and the overall is parabolic. TWM is a good movie, because it has no miracles, no lies. Maybe less and less people w

Dave Spritz: That was refreshing. I'm refreshed. I'm refreshing.
Russ: Dave, step back right now.
Dave Spritz: Fuck you right now.
Russ: Fuck you, Spritz.
Dave Spritz: Fuck you, fat asshole! Dildo!
Robert Spritzel: David, what are you doing?
Dave Spritz: I'm talking to my wife! I'm talking to Noreen, and this clown whose business this isn't.
Russ: You call me a dildo, it is my business, Spritz.
Dave Spritz: You *are* a dildo, pork fuck. You porker!
Dave Spritz: I remember once imagining what my life would be like, what I'd be like. I pictured having all these qualities, strong positive qualities that people could pick up on from across the room. But as time passed, few ever became any qualities that I actually had. And all the possibilities I faced and the sorts of people I could be, all of them got reduced every year to fewer and fewer. Until finally they got reduced to one, to who I am. And that's who I am, the weather man.
