The Silence Of The Lambs--The Ultimate Madnessmadness

After taking the time to read the last remaining part of this series, "Hannibal", I have a new understanding of the entire series.

The Silence Of The Lambs--Marginalized Justice

Where is the justice in the film? In Sterling's heart. Where is Sterling's position? In "Silence of the Lambs", she is a used intern, weak and helpless; in "Hannibal", she is a tainted police officer who has been excluded and framed, still weak and helpless.

However, in "Silence of the Lambs", Sterling insisted on searching...

      some confusion

After watching the movie, I was a little confused.
      1. The title of this film is The Silence of the Lambs, but apart from the heroine's childhood memories, there is nothing in line with the title, and the silent and closed side of human nature cannot be seen throughout the film. Perhaps changing the name to something related to butterfly or transformation is more relevant.
      2. When the heroine entered the cell, the doctor reminded repeatedly not to bring any sharp objects, and then we...

      Demon Gentleman,

      Demon Gentleman,
      - Character Analysis of Hannibal in "The Silence of the Lambs"

Preface: Before watching "The Silence of the Lambs" for the fourth time, I was chasing an American drama - "Hannibal". In the United States, the "Silence of the Lambs" series of books is widely circulated as a well-known reading similar to "Strange Tales from a Liaozhai". Therefore, the resulting film and television works all tacitly assume that the audience at least knows the general story, which...

Childhood memories are collective memories for everyone. Can't see the end of redemption. A large number of close-ups of the front and bottom light framed the ferocious face of dear Mr. Hopkins after endless vicissitudes, and fell to the ground on Huo Lao. The classmate Jodie Foster, who seems to specialize in playing tough women, completely compares it. PS: Another Palme d'Or...

    Behind the scenes gags

Anthony Hopkins only appeared in the film for 16 minutes, becoming the shortest performance to win the Oscar for Best Actor.
A skull appears on the butterfly in the film poster. If you look closely, you can find that the skulls are actually 3 naked women (7 in another version) . They were inspired and photographed by Dali’s paintings with Philip Halsman. The photographs from 1951 are very similar.
The film said that Clarice majored in...

    Breakthrough in narrative

"The Silent Lamb" is a classic that has profoundly reflected the problems of social crime in the United States since the 1990s. The film story inherits the tradition of Hollywood horror films, but the film's narrative method has broken through the horror film mode. It is quite ingenious to combine horror films and detective films into one. Although the film’s scene setting is dominated by a closed indoor environment and lacks fierce...

    Use of film language

The film has a very good use of film language. This film is not only a detective film but also a psychoanalytic film. In the film, the director used a lot of space to show the inner world of the characters and discuss the psychological processes of the characters, and the dark camera processing, superb music use and non-positive performance of the violent scenes add a thrilling and tense atmosphere to the film. , Its use of artistic...

    Art is praised

"The Silent Lamb" is a film with a complicated plot and intense drama conflict, and it is also a very good entertainment film. Its artistry is also praised. The spiritual confrontation, the sharp contrast between "angels and demons", and the inherent philosophy based on a slower pace are impressive, so it can Leave a mark in the history of film ( the 64th Oscar Jury ). In addition to the creation of an atmosphere of horror, the social...

    Role-building

In the film, the performance of the actors is also extremely good. Judy Foster once again demonstrated her outstanding acting talent, and created a brave and tenacious female agent image. She vividly demonstrated the emotional and psychological changes of the characters, making the characters more vivid and touching. The performance of Anthony Hopkins, who plays Dr. Hannibal, can be said to have reached the extreme of performing arts....

    Movie quotes

    • Hannibal Lecter: Now then, tell me. What did Miggs say to you? Multiple Miggs in the next cell. He hissed at you. What did he say?

Clarice Starling: He said, "I can smell your cunt."

Hannibal Lecter: I see. I myself cannot. You use Evyan skin cream, and sometimes you wear L'Air du Temps, but not today.

    • Hannibal Lecter: "Plum Island Animal Disease Research Center." Sounds charming.

Clarice Starling: That's only a part of the island. There's a very, very nice beach. Terns nest there. There's beautiful...

Hannibal Lecter: [cuts her off] Terns? Mmh. If I help you, Clarice, it will be "turns" with us too. Quid pro quo. I tell you things, you tell me things. Not about this case, though. About yourself. Quid pro quo. Yes or no?

      [pause]

Hannibal Lecter: Yes or no, Clarice? Poor little Catherine is waiting.

      Clarice Starling: Go, doctor.

    • Murray: Is it true what they're sayin'?

Clarice Starling: [looks up from her notepad] Huh?

      Murray: He's some kinda vampire?

Clarice Starling: They don't have a name for what he is.
